Klein Aus Vista - Sossusvlei - Spitzkopje - Rostok Ritz - Namib petrified dunes - Namib Sky - Wolwedans - Namibrand - Fish River canyon - Gondwana Canyon lodge
I started this trip alone... I think I was trying to reconnect to my inner-self. The first week, I struggled with the cruiser... starter motor, punctures, destroyed tyres... Then I met shaman-musician Kailash, Terry and her son. Kailash asked me to take photos and video of him singing in the dunes for his next album. We also went to Spitzkopje together for an "el pedro" cactus retreat. The journey after that was so much better. I found my-self a new photographic challenge (what became a few years later the Utopia collection). In search of these rare landscapes, I was welcome at many places including Rostok Ritz farm, Gondwana Desert lodge near the petrified dunes, Namib Sky and Wolwedans in the Namib Rand before going back to Windhoek where Petra brought the kids for the second part of the trip. We went all again to magical Spitzkopje and then I traveled with Enya & James back to South Africa via Sossusvlei, Wolwedans, Fish River Canyon and Gondwana Canyon lodge.
