Sesriem Canyon - Sossusvlei - Deadvlei
My friend photographer and birder, Chanan who lives in Cape Town, came to visit and together we spent 3 nights at the Sossusdune lodge, the only lodge inside the Namib-Naukluft national park. The Namibian Wildlife Resort (NWR) manages the lodge... that says it all. However, we had a very pleasant stay with decent food and very nice staff. We bravely dived into the cold pool. The main objective of the trip was photography, mostly dune- and desert-scapes and Chanan even managed to add 2 new birds to his 1000 bird photographic challenge.
